In a significant development, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has apprehended and taken into custody Ashiq Hussain, a Patwari serving in Halqa Sharifabad, District Budgam. He was apprehended in a red-handed operation while soliciting and accepting a bribe amounting to ₹10,000 in exchange for the inclusion of records in revenue documentation.
