Anantnag, Dec 5 (buzzbytes): A privately owned vehicle was engulfed in flames along the Jammu-Srinagar highway near Shamsipora in Kulgam district, as per officials on Tuesday.
The driver, Arvin Pandita, son of M L Pandita from Jammu, and other passengers, whose exact number is not immediately available, safely escaped the fiery incident, authorities reported.
Personnel from the Qaimoh Police Station promptly arrived at the scene to initiate the necessary procedures.
SHO Qaimoh Museer Asgar assured that there were no injuries, and all occupants of the vehicle emerged unscathed from the incident.
