As temperatures drop, the idyllic Pahalgam and the tranquil shores of Dal Lake observe readings of -5.8°C and -6.0°C respectively.
In contrast, the Jammu region encounters milder conditions. Jammu itself sees a relatively warmer 6.7°C, while the charming towns of Katra and Kathua enjoy temperatures of 6.6°C. Amidst the hills, Banihal and Bhaderwah withstand the cold at -0.5°C and -0.2°C, showcasing the diverse climate within the region.
The high-altitude expanse of Ladakh remains frozen in time, with Leh recording an intense -11.0°C, Kargil at -8.8°C, and the icy stretch of Drass plunging to -11.7°C.
