Yet, arrests are only the first step. The judiciary must ensure swift, transparent justice to punish and deter. This crime, linked to substance abuse and targeting a vulnerable woman, demands societal action—curbing violence and protecting marginalized groups.
The Nishat tragedy urges us to reject complacency and build a just society. The victim’s memory demands nothing less.
