CRPF 182BN Organizes Free Medical Camp on First Day of Ramadan

Shabnum Fayaz Pulwama, March 12, 2024: On the auspicious occasion of the first day of Ramadan, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 182nd Battalion organized a free medical camp at Koil area in Pulwama district, catering to the medical needs of financially underprivileged individuals in the region.In its ongoing commitment to serve the community, CRPF has been conducting free medical camps across different locations in Pulwama district, ensuring that essential healthcare services are readily available to those in need, without any financial burden.Apart from its primary role in maintaining security and upholding law and order, CRPF has consistently endeavored to extend its support to the local populace by organizing such initiatives.The free medical camp at Koil witnessed a significant turnout, with people from various parts of the area and its neighboring regions availing themselves of the opportunity to consult with doctors and receive free medication.The medical team comprised specialists including Gynecologists, General Physicians, and Dental Surgeons from both the civil administration and CRPF, providing comprehensive medical consultations to approximately 200 patients during the camp.Speaking on the occasion, CO CRPF 182BN, Deepak Dondyal, reiterated the commitment of CRPF to the welfare of the people of the valley. He emphasized that initiatives such as sports activities, educational programs, and medical camps are integral components of CRPF’s civic action program, aimed at fostering community welfare.CO CRPF 182BN highlighted the importance of organizing medical camps, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, to ensure that individuals have access to essential medical facilities at their doorstep.
