Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Raja Javid, chaired a meeting at the D.C Office Complex Kupwara’s Meeting Hall to assess the progress of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) programme.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for added dedication and coordinated efforts from all officers to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the district. Stressing the importance of mass participation, she urged officers to make the Yatra a grand success.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed officers to ensure the active involvement of field functionaries from each department in the VBSY camps, aiming to raise awareness of centrally sponsored schemes at the grassroots level. Regular submission of attendance records for these field functionaries was also mandated.

Concerning the ‘Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani’ component, the DC directed officers to ensure the timely uploading of success stories on the VBSY portal. The Lead District Manager was specifically tasked with ensuring the mandatory participation of bank field functionaries across various panchayats during VBSY camp activities.

The meeting witnessed the presence of the Lead District Manager Kupwara, Block Development Officers, DPM (Health), and other relevant officials. The concerted efforts outlined in the meeting aim to contribute to the success of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme in Kupwara district.
