Guide the Professional Organizes Bike Rally in Collaboration with District Police to Raise Awareness on Cyber Crimes

In a joint effort, Guide the Professional (GTP) partnered with District Police Ganderbal Kashmir, along with support and participation from the School of Business Studies, Central University of Kashmir, to organize a bike rally dedicated to raising awareness about Cyber Crimes.

The rally, flagged off from the Central University of Kashmir Green Campus, was inaugurated by Prof Fayaz Ahmad Nika, Dean School of Business Studies, in the presence of Mr. Ghulam Hassan, DySP Ganderbal, and Saba Bhat, CEO of Guide the Professionals. The route took the participants through various villages, concluding at Wayil Ganderbal.

Speaking at the event, Prof Fayaz Ahmad Nika emphasized the increasing significance of such initiatives, especially in the era where technology is deeply integrated into our lives, resulting in a rise in cyber crimes like identity theft, cyber stalking, and cyberbullying. He stressed the need to exercise caution while using technology and underscored the importance of spreading awareness about cyber crimes among the general public.

Mr. Gulam Hassan, DySP Headquarter Ganderbal, provided detailed insights into the government mechanisms available to report incidents of cyber crimes. He assured participants that J&K police is vigilant and ready to counter the nefarious designs of cyber criminals.

Saba Bhat, during her address, shared safety tips for using technology responsibly and highlighted the significance of organizing such programs regularly to educate and empower the community. Certificates of appreciation were distributed among various participants at the event, which was also attended by Mr. Aftab Ahmad, DySP Operations, S M Mandal, SHOs of Ganderbal, Lar, and Tulumulla Khirbawani.
