Reasi, January 31, 2024In a candid address at the Shakti Vandan Workshop held at the BJP Headquarters in Reasi, senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana predicted that the fragmentation within the INDI Alliance at the national level would soon reverberate within its Jammu and Kashmir camp. Rana attributed the coalition’s unity to a shared “hate-Modi syndrome” and a thirst for power, contrasting it with the BJP’s commitment to “Nation First.” He anticipates the alliance’s disintegration due to what he views as their self-centered and dynastic motivations.Rana expressed skepticism about the sustainability of the J&K allies, suggesting that their unity stemmed from a reaction to public rejection and their involvement in opportunistic politics, nepotism, and favoritism. Drawing parallels to the INDI Alliance’s ideological divergence leading to faltering convergence, Rana indicated that the J&K allies were also destined to break apart, especially considering the public’s indifference towards their reactionary tendencies that have historically contributed to unrest in Kashmir.Highlighting the irony of former rivals now forming alliances out of political necessity, Rana remarked on the opportunism of political actors who had previously exchanged invectives. He emphasized the political sagacity of Jammu and Kashmir’s citizens, who remember the divisive rhetoric of the National Conference towards its now partners.Rana drew parallels between the struggles of the INDI Alliance partners at the national level and the potential shattering of the J&K allies in the face of public indifference. He credited the people’s rejection of actors who instigated unrest and praised the transformation in the region during the past four years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.Devender Rana commended the intent of PM Modi in turning Jammu and Kashmir from a terror hotspot into a tourism hub. He noted the tangible improvements on the ground, bringing peace and economic activities without the uncertainty that previously prevailed. Rana emphasized that the people’s hope in the BJP has added more responsibilities to the party and the government, aligning with the Prime Minister’s agenda of inclusive development.Rana concluded by affirming the BJP’s commitment to inclusive and equitable development, echoing the principles of unity, progress, and Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. He credited PM Modi’s decisive and bold leadership for rekindling hope among the people and steering the nation towards becoming Viksit and Atamnirbhar.Prominent personalities present at the occasion included Rohit Dubey, Zila Pardhan, Arvind Gupta, Parbhari, Baldev Raj Sharma, Ex-MLA, Kuldeep Dubey, Ritu Thakur, Zila Pardhan Mahila Morcha, Neelam Devi, Sukhdev Singh, Zila Mahamantri, Romail Singh, Reeta Devi DDC Pouni, Raj Kumar DDC Arnas, Neelma Devi DDC Katra, Ashok Singh BDC Bhagga, Neena Devi BDC Arnas, Padam Dev Singh, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Vijay Paroch, Sakshi Gupta, Kabla Singh, and others.
