Hajin, January 31:In anticipation of impending snowfall, the Municipal Committee (MC) Hajin has heightened its preparedness, ensuring both manpower and machinery are on standby. Fayaz Ahmad Mir, the Executive Officer of MC Hajin, affirmed their commitment to swiftly address any challenges posed by the winter weather.Speaking with a sense of urgency, Mir stated, “We have kept our men and machinery on high alert to meet any eventualities. Presently, the ground situation involves ongoing snowfall, with one to two inches already accumulating on the roads.”Mir emphasized the strategic planning undertaken by the committee, stating, “In the event of heavy snowfall, our top priority will be to clear the roads leading to various hospitals and institutes. I have directed employees to remain present and vigilant, with men and machinery geared up to tackle potential waterlogged areas during the snowfall.”To streamline snow clearance operations, the MC Hajin has designated a tractor with a clearing plow and a bulldozer, both ready for immediate deployment.
