Sainik School Nagrota was honored to host a motivational guest lecture by Shri RR Swain, IPS, DGP J&K, offering valuable insights on core human values and personal growth. The highest-ranking IPS officer in Jammu and Kashmir shared his experiences as an alumnus of Sainik School Bhubaneswar, emphasizing the pivotal role it played in shaping his character.
The event, attended by officers, staff, and cadets, commenced with Cadet Aman Kumar introducing and welcoming Shri RR Swain. Brigadier Gurmeet Singh Shan, Director Sainik Welfare Department (J&K) and an alumnus of the school, graced the occasion. The Principal, Capt (IN) AK Desai, presented a school memento to Shri RR Swain as a token of appreciation.
Shri RR Swain shared vivid reminiscences of his formative years as a young cadet, highlighting how the seven years at Sainik School significantly contributed to his personal and professional growth. Cadet Arush Verma, the School Cadet Captain, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude for the valuable insights shared by Shri RR Swain.
The lecture served as a source of inspiration, instilling a deeper understanding of core human values essential for personal and professional development. The DGP interacted with young achievers of the school, recognizing their accomplishments in sports, academics, and national competitions.
