In anticipation of the upcoming OMR-based examination for the Panchayat Secretary position conducted by the J&K Service Selection Board, a vital preparatory meeting took place at Circuit House Pulwama. Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom (IAS), the meeting focused on comprehensive arrangements and meticulous planning for a smooth examination process.
Deputy Commissioner Pulwama led a thorough review of arrangements at each examination center, emphasizing the importance of a detailed, institution-wise analysis to ensure fairness and transparency. Stressing on micro-level scrutiny by Heads of Institutions, he left no room for leniency, ensuring a rigorous examination environment.
The Deputy Commissioner underscored the need for essential facilities such as proper sanitation, drinking water, heating, and comfortable seating arrangements. The goal was to create a conducive and comfortable atmosphere for the candidates during the examination, promoting a fair and stress-free testing environment.
Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized seamless coordination among all stakeholders involved in the examination process. Recognizing the critical role of coordination, he stressed meticulous planning and execution to guarantee the success of the entire operation.
The meeting saw the participation of key stakeholders, including ADDC Pulwama, SSP Pulwama, ADC Pulwama, ADC Awantipora, ACR Pulwama, SSB officials, District officers, Tehsildars, and Heads of educational institutions. The collaborative effort demonstrated the District Administration Pulwama’s commitment to conducting the JKSSRB Panchayat Secretary Examination with utmost efficiency and transparency.
