Srinagar, Nov 16: On the 14th death anniversary of the eminent journalist and founder of the Urdu daily ‘Srinagar Times,’ Sofi Ghulam Muhammad, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah paid heartfelt tributes to commemorate his contributions to Urdu journalism in Kashmir.
Remembering the late Sofi, Dr. Farooq Abdullah praised his forthrightness, emphasizing that Sofi Sahib was a trailblazer in Urdu journalism in the region. He lauded Sofi’s editorials and his unwavering commitment to Urdu literature, acknowledging his significant role in shaping the journalistic landscape.
