A mysterious explosion rocked the premises of an armed police camp located in the Surankote area of Poonch district early on Wednesday. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
Authorities confirmed that several vehicles parked within the compound of the armed police 6th battalion, ‘D coy’, suffered damage to their windows due to the impact of the blast. The incident took place during the night spanning December 19 and 20.
Speaking on the matter, a police official stated, “The cause and specifics of this unexpected explosion are currently under investigation. We are diligently working to ascertain more details, and further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.”
