Srinagar, Feb 01: In a recent directive from the Jammu and Kashmir government, Dr. Rakesh Magotra, currently serving as the In-Charge Medical Superintendent of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, has been assigned additional responsibilities. Dr. Magotra is now tasked with looking after the charge of the post of Director Health Services Jammu.The official order, issued by the Health and Medical Education Department, states that Dr. Magotra will concurrently handle the charge of Deputy Director (HQ), Jammu, after relinquishing his current responsibilities. This temporary arrangement is subject to legal outcomes, and any adverse reports may lead to its cancellation.The order explicitly mentions that this temporary assignment does not grant Dr. Magotra preferential treatment during future regularization, placement, or promotions, which will strictly adhere to established rules and regulations. The government reserves the right to reconsider the arrangement in case of adverse reports from concerned agencies.
