Srinagar, December 12: Mohammad Altaf Dar, a prominent socio-political activist and Senior Trade Union Leader, has voiced deep concern over the incessant overflow of drainage in Kawdara, Srinagar. The unchecked overflow has significantly inconvenienced the area’s residents, forcing them to navigate through filth on a regular basis.
Despite numerous complaints lodged by residents to the concerned authorities, no actions have been taken to alleviate this persisting issue. The gravity of the situation was evident recently when a senior citizen suffered a fall while traversing the inundated area. This incident underscores the urgent need for immediate action to prevent further harm to the community.
Expressing grave concern, Mohammad Altaf Dar earnestly urges the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to intervene promptly and address the problem. Failure to take decisive action may lead to more unfortunate incidents, risking the well-being of individuals navigating these hazardous conditions.
