Handwara, Oct 04 (Buzzbytes) – Tragedy struck Lachipora Village in Handwara as an 85-year-old man, Ali Mohammad Dar, lost his life after being struck by a speeding Tata Sumo on Wednesday.
Sources report that the incident occurred around 02:00 PM when the Tata Sumo, driven recklessly, hit Mr. Dar and fled the scene. Nearby residents rushed to his aid, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival at GMC Handwara.
The driver responsible for the accident is currently at large, prompting a police investigation into the incident.
