The event saw the inauguration of the Women’s Tournament, marked by the first match between Humas Queen Drass and Ice Hockey Club Bodhkarboo.Excitement filled the air as Ice Hockey Club Bodhkarboo emerged victorious in the game with a convincing margin of 3-0 goals. Additionally, another match showcased the participation of Ice Hockey Club Zanskar, marking its inaugural entry into the tournament, facing off against Chams Drass. The Zanskar team claimed victory with a 2-0 score.Executive Councilor Tashi actively engaged with the players, offering words of encouragement and emphasizing the importance of persistence in their sporting endeavors to bring laurels to the district.
