Global Convent School Channi Rama, a premier educational institution in Jammu, illuminated the Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, during its 22nd Annual Day celebration on December 11, 2023. The event, marked by exuberance and talent, underscored the school’s rich legacy and commitment to holistic education.
Distinguished guests, Sh. Kavinder Gupta, Former Deputy Chief Minister, and Tajinder Singh Sodhi, Bureau Chief NEWS 18, graced the occasion as Chief Guests and Guest of Honour, respectively, inspiring students with their encouraging words.
The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and a melodious rendition of the school song. Sh. Sohail Kazmi, Editor-Taskeen/Hon’ble member JK Waqf Board, presided over the function. Riaz Ahmed, Principal of Global Convent School, Branch Batote, paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Mr. K. K. Pandoh and Late Mr. M. L. Gandotra, acknowledging their vision and unwavering support.
