Government Appoints Anish Dayal Singh as Additional Charge for DG ITBP

BuzzBytes Srinagar, Nov 29 (GNS): In a recent development, the Government of India has appointed Anish Dayal Singh, the Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), to take on the additional charge of Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). The decision comes as the current DG ITBP, S.L Thaosen, is set to retire on November 30, 2023.

According to the official order, “The Competent Authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post of Director General, Centre Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to Shri Anish Dayal Singh, IPS (MA:88), Director General, ITBP upon superannuation of Shri S.L Thaosen, IPS (MP:88), Director General, CRPF on 30.11.2023 and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.”

This strategic move ensures a smooth transition in leadership and underscores the government’s commitment to the effective management of security forces.
