In a poignant appeal, a determined ‘Divyang’ (disabled) schoolgirl from Udhampur, identified only as Kajal, has penned a heartfelt letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, pleading for improved roads leading to her school.

Kajal, a sixth-standard student at the Government Middle School in Meldi, within the administrative jurisdiction of Fangyal Panchayat in Udhampur district, has shed light on the challenging daily journey she and her friends face due to the dilapidated condition of the approach road to their school.
Expressing the perils of navigating the hazardous road, Kajal revealed, “I fell down many times on this road on my way to school. Such is the prevailing state of the road that it has become nothing short of a risk for me and my friends commuting on it. I urge you (PM Modi) to build us better roads leading to the school.”
This heartfelt plea follows the recent viral video of Seerat Naaz, a schoolgirl from Kathua district, reaching out to PM Modi for improved infrastructure and a conducive learning environment. Kajal’s letter now brings attention to the pressing need for enhanced infrastructure at Government Middle School in Meldi, shedding light on the challenges faced by students on a daily basis.
As Kajal’s impassioned letter gains traction, it underscores the resilience and determination of students facing adversity and their hopes for positive change through the intervention of the country’s leadership.
