The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a national outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Centre’s flagship schemes, took center stage in 22 Panchayats of Mawar Qalamabad and Qaziabad blocks in Kupwara district.

A large turnout marked the VBSY events in Panchayats including Ringpath A, Kargam, Walrhama A, Renan, Kandi, Adoora, Kalam chakla, Ringpath B, Udipora, Banday, Hangah, Marathgam, Sohipora, Supernagam, Haril, Jeehama, Monbal, Walrama B, Lach, Batgund, Nowgam A, and Mawar.

The initiative, focused on saturating the benefits of Central government schemes, received enthusiastic participation from Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), locals, and officers and field functionaries of various government departments.

Participants attentively listened to the recorded message of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, emphasizing the campaign’s significance. The Sankalp pledge, affirming commitment to the nation’s holistic development, was a pivotal part of the program.

Considerable numbers of people in these Panchayats received information about various government schemes and initiatives. The ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ segment featured successful beneficiaries sharing their experiences, urging others to avail themselves of the welfare schemes.

The VBSY program incorporated diverse events, including interactions with progressive farmers, celebration of Gram Panchayat achievements, felicitation of local achievers, and health camps. A vibrant display of cultural performances by local artists and students under ‘Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke’ added an entertaining dimension to the Yatra.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues to create awareness, foster community engagement, and celebrate the achievements of government initiatives in the quest for holistic development.
