Hajin: Hajin Police on Wednesday organised an awareness programme at Government Degree College (GDC) Hajin to educate students about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse.
The event was chaired by SDPO Hajin Manzoor Ahmad Malik and attended by SHO Hajin Qaiser Ahmad, Prof. Mehraj Hajini, Falak Feroz, and other dignitaries.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the importance of identifying early warning signs and behavioural changes among youth that may indicate involvement in narcotic abuse. They urged parents, teachers, and community members to stay vigilant and work collectively to eradicate this menace from society.
The speakers also motivated students to engage themselves in constructive, positive, and creative activities to lead a healthy and purposeful life.
Students from M.D. Hajini Memorial and GDC Hajin actively participated in the event, appreciating the efforts of Hajin Police for organising such awareness programmes.
