Srinagar, October 4: Today, a high-level delegation from the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum, led by its chairman Ab Qayoom Wani, visited Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at his residence in Nigeen to extend their congratulations on his release from house detention. The leaders of JKCSF conveyed their felicitations on his freedom and also discussed the concerning rise in issues such as substance abuse, societal problems, self-harm cases, family disputes, the erosion of moral values. They urged him to collaborate on a collective strategy to address these societal challenges.
