Despite facing adversity after an accident at the age of 8, the 34-year-old cricketer has become a beacon of inspiration, showcasing a distinctive playing technique.Amir’s cricket journey began in 2013 when a perceptive teacher recognized his cricketing abilities and introduced him to Para Cricket. He lost both arms in a childhood accident at his father’s mill, yet his remarkable skills on the cricket field have earned him praise from legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Ashish Nehra.Bowling with his feet and batting using his chin and neck, Amir’s resilience and talent have garnered attention beyond borders. Tendulkar sent him a gift, and Nehra invited him to the 2016 T-20 World Cup semi-final. Amir attributes his life’s saving to the Indian Army following the accident. Mumbai-based ‘Pickle Entertainment’ is working on a biopic that will capture the extraordinary journey of Amir Hussain Lone.Expressing his dream to play for the country, Amir advocates for the promotion of Para sports in the valley.
