Sumbal:Under the esteemed patronage of College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shabeena Iqbal Shawl, NSS Unit, in collaboration with the Electoral Literacy Club of the college, successfully organized an Interactive Session on ‘Mera Pehla Vote – Desh Ke Liye’. The primary objective of this event was to evoke a sense of the right to vote, instill patriotism by voting for nation, and reinforce civic responsibility among the participants.The session, held in smart class room, commenced with an opening address by Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Parey, Assistant Professor of Education, who initiated discussions on the profound impact of an individual’s first vote. He emphasized the significance of this civic duty as an opportunity to actively shape the destiny of the nation. Another distinguished speaker, Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad Rather, Assistant Professor in History, highlighted the importance of viewing voting not just as a right but as a duty. He underlined the crucial role each citizen plays in the nation-building process.The interactive nature of the session allowed participants to actively engage in discussions and share their perspectives on the topic. This fostered a sense of collective commitment among attendees towards contributing to the betterment of the country through active political participation.The key highlights of the program included insightful discussions on the power that citizens hold in steering the course of the nation’s future.
