Jammu and Kashmir: Emphasizing a robust vision for comprehensive development, Lieutenant Governor (LG) Sinha highlighted the pivotal role of industry in fostering employment opportunities, elevating productivity, and catalyzing prosperity within the region’s economy.
“We are steadfast in our commitment to provide unparalleled incentives and a conducive environment conducive for business expansion and industrial growth,” stated the Lt Governor. He further reiterated the aspiration for Jammu and Kashmir to ascend as a frontrunner in the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ rankings. Encouraging industry leaders to invest in the Union Territory, he emphasized their integral role in shaping J&K’s developmental trajectory.
During the event, the Lt Governor toured various stalls showcasing innovative endeavors by entrepreneurs and business organizations, underscoring the entrepreneurial spirit and potential within the region.
The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Sh Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to the Lt Governor; Sh Bhupinder Kumar, Secretary, Health and Medical Education; Sh Vikramjit Singh, Commissioner Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department; and Sh Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu. Additionally, heads of departments, senior officials, industry stalwarts, and entrepreneurs convened to deliberate and collaborate on propelling Jammu and Kashmir’s growth trajectory.
