Dr Syed Sehrish finalised arrangements at Baramulla

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalise arrangements for Panchayat Secretary Examination in the district. The exam will be conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board on 10th of December.
During the meeting, it was informed that 16144 candidates are expected to appear in Panchayat Secretary examination at 44 centers across the District. For the smooth, free and fair conduct of the examination, 46 Magistrates, 44 Superintendents, 44 Observers and 620 invigilators are being deployed across the district.
Dr. Sehrish, during the meeting, directed concerned officers to meticulously inspect all examination centers and ensure essential facilities such as heating, drinking water, sanitation, proper lighting, and other amenities are in place for the seamless conduct of the Panchayat Secretary Examination.
DC further issued directives to the concerned departments during the meeting to work in a coordinated and cohesive manner. The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) has been directed to formulate a comprehensive route plan, enhancing logistical coordination. Additionally, the District Treasury Officer (DTO) has been instructed to install CCTV cameras at the Strong Room.
Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of videography of examination material during the opening and closing procedures, reinforcing transparency and security measures for the Panchayat Secretary Examination.DC also said that CrPC 144 will be imposed around the 200 Meters radius of every examination center on Exam day.
