1. “Bribe by Cheque — The True Face of Digital India!”
News: In Srinagar, the ACB caught a head constable red-handed accepting a bribe of ₹15,000 — ₹5,000 in cash and ₹10,000 through a cheque.
The Repair: Congratulations! Even bribery has gone cashless. The Digital India mission is a grand success — just moving in the wrong direction!

2. “Two Sheets of Paper, Price ₹70,000 — Land Is Cheap, Its Paperwork Is Not!”
News: The ACB arrested a Patwari and his assistant for demanding and accepting a ₹70,000 bribe just to issue two revenue extracts (Fards).
The Repair: People complain that land prices are touching the sky. Wrong! It’s not the land that’s expensive — it’s the photocopy of its documents.

3. “A ₹4,000 Bribe — Even Corruption Feels the Pinch of Inflation!”
News: In Mumbai, an RTO clerk was caught taking a ₹4,000 bribe — he had originally demanded ₹5,000, but the deal was “settled” at ₹4,000.
The Repair: See, even bribes come with bargaining! You get better discounts at a government office than at the vegetable market.

4. “The Officer’s New Treatment — Consultation Fee ₹42,000!”
News: A Deputy Commissioner of the Navi Mumbai municipal corporation was caught by the ACB accepting ₹42,000 in bribe money, right inside the headquarters.
The Repair: Junior clerks ask for “tea-water money,” senior officers demand the whole tea estate! The higher the chair, the more VIP the rate card.

5. “Digital Arrest: A ₹4,057 Crore Online Empire!”
News: In four years, digital arrest scams have cost the country ₹4,057 crore, with over 2.97 lakh cases reported.
The Repair: At a real police station, filing an FIR takes a week. But the fake police “arrest” you on a video call in ten minutes flat. Dear government, please take efficiency lessons from the scammers!

6. “6,500 Fake Bank Accounts — While We Make Three Trips to Open One!”
News: In Maharashtra’s ₹58 crore digital arrest scam, fraudsters used over 6,500 fake bank accounts spread across 13 layers to launder money.
The Repair: The common man needs Aadhaar, PAN, a selfie and three visits to open one account — and the fraudsters opened 6,500! Maybe KYC actually stands for “Keep Your Cash… elsewhere.”

7. “New Bridge: Warranty Valid for 96 Hours Only!”
News: In Bihar’s Buxar district, a ₹26.40 crore overbridge — which people waited 11 years for — developed faults just 96 hours after opening.
The Repair: A mobile phone comes with a one-year warranty; a government bridge can’t even manage four days. Eleven years of waiting, four days of love!

8. “Expressway or Express-Away? Shut Down by the First Rain!”
News: The newly inaugurated “missing link” of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, opened on 1 May 2026, was shut within two months due to rain damage and a landslide.
The Repair: Ribbon-cutting speed is 5G, road quality is 2G. Now we know why they named it the “missing link” — one good rain and it actually goes missing!

9. “Came to See Kashmir, the Website Took Them for a Ride!”
News: Fake houseboat and hotel booking websites are targeting tourists visiting Kashmir; the administration has advised booking only through verified portals.
The Repair: Earlier, a shikara took tourists around Dal Lake. Now online thugs take their entire bank account for a spin. Booking for paradise, bill from hell!

10. “Even Bribes Are Negotiable — Government Office or Sunday Flea Market?”
News: In Rajasthan, the ACB trapped two officials — one had demanded ₹50,000 and the other ₹35,000 to clear a complainant’s file.
The Repair: Moving a file forward now comes with an official “toll tax” and a rate list. Just install FASTag at the office counter, sir — at least the queues will disappear!
