New Delhi, Aug 22 (BuzzBytes): Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha met Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today in New Delhi.

The Lieutenant Governor briefed the Prime Minister on the overall situation in the Union Territory. The meeting focused on various matters relating to law and order, development projects, infrastructure, investment, tourism and public welfare in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources said the discussion covered the progress of ongoing developmental works and the steps being taken to strengthen basic facilities across the Union Territory.

It is pertinent to mention that in recent days the Lieutenant Governor has kept his focus on the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir and on developmental projects there.
