In a proactive move to ensure the swift resolution of issues and address public grievances, the District Administration Kulgam organized a Mega Block Diwas at Kulgam.

The grievance redressal camp, presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, provided a platform for residents from Ashmuji, Aamnoo, Katrasoo, Modergam, Bogund, Kund, and other areas to voice their concerns and developmental needs.

People and public representatives highlighted demands such as the augmentation of the Power LT network, development and widening of Aamnoo road, and repairs of exit-entry entrance road stretches near the bus stand in Laroo. The DC, with a patient ear, promptly addressed some immediate grievances on the spot, assuring that the remaining genuine concerns would be tackled in a time-bound manner.

Dr. Bilal emphasized that the timely redressal of issues is a top priority and directed executing agencies to expedite project work to meet public expectations.

The event saw the presence of ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, ACR Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, ACD Mohammad Imran, ACP Sharjeel Ali, and other officials, officers, and a significant number of the public and their representatives. The Mega Block Diwas exemplified the administration’s commitment to fostering effective communication and addressing community needs promptly.
