Danish Mirza Anantnag, December 13:

In a determined stride towards achieving the visionary goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047 set by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the tribal belt of Anantnag is experiencing a surge in the spirit of progress. Various government departments, including agriculture and health sectors, have initiated a comprehensive campaign to deliver immediate services to the tribal villages of Anantnag.
Dedicated camps are being established in every tribal village to enhance outreach and awareness, providing a direct link to the benefits of government welfare programs. In a noteworthy event at Brimmer Narsar Village, Tehsil Shangus, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag SF Hamid flagged off Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Vans. These specially designed vans, equipped with materials in local languages, will utilize audio-visuals, brochures, pamphlets, booklets, and standees to disseminate knowledge. Key focus areas include sanitation, financial services, electricity, LPG connections, housing, food security, healthcare, clean water, and more.
The ground activities in tribal areas encompass a range of Jan Bhagidari events, featuring beneficiary interactions, celebrations of achievements, quiz competitions, drone demonstrations, health camps, and Mera Yuva Bharat volunteer enrollment.
The Viksit Bharat Campaign, a monumental outreach initiative, aims to cover over 335 Gram Panchayats and 10 urban local bodies in District Anantnag by January 25, 2024. Operating with a ‘whole of Government’ approach, the campaign ensures active participation from State Governments, District authorities, Urban Local Bodies, and Gram Panchayats.
