BuzzBytes Srinagar, Mar 12 (KS):The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has announced the declaration of the Jammu Kashmir National Front (JKNF) as an ‘unlawful association’ under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UA(P)A) for a period of five years.Home Minister Amit Shah conveyed the decision, stating, “The Modi government today declared Jammu and Kashmir National Front as an Unlawful Association.” The announcement highlighted the outfit’s involvement in secessionist activities aimed at severing Jammu and Kashmir from India and supporting terrorism, posing a threat to the sovereignty, security, and integrity of the nation.”We are committed to uprooting terror forces to ensure the security of the people of Bharat,” emphasized the post.The designation of JKNF as an ‘unlawful association’ underscores the government’s resolve to combat terrorism and uphold national security.
