The Mughal Road, crucially connecting Kashmir Valley’s Shopian district with Rajouri and Poonch, has been closed due to recent snowfall, according to officials.
Fresh snowfall, notably at ‘Pir Ki Gali’ and other points along the road, prompted the closure of this vital route. DySP PC Surankote Hamid Ali Bandey confirmed the closure, emphasizing the impact of weather conditions on the accessibility of the road.
