A newly recruited local terrorist associated with the Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit met his end in a gunfight on Thursday night with security forces in the Arihal area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A senior police officer informed that during the firefight, one local LeT terrorist, namely Kifayat Ayoub Alie, son of Mohd Ayoub Alie, a resident of Pinjoora Shopian, was eliminated.
Security forces recovered one pistol, two grenades, two magazines, and five rounds from his possession. He had joined the outfit on October 4th this year, the officer added.
On Thursday evening, a gunfight erupted between terrorists and security forces in the Arihal area.
