Hajin:The Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, Hajin Zone, has earned appreciation from locals for restoring water supply to Hajin town after a road collapse damaged key pipelines, disrupting normal supply.
Soon after the incident, PHE staff pressed into service and worked continuously from morning till evening to repair the damaged pipelines despite difficult ground conditions. Their sustained efforts helped restore water supply and brought relief to the residents.
Local resident Hilal Wani, while sharing visuals of the repair work on social media, praised the department for its timely response and dedication in handling the situation.
Residents said that although maintaining water supply is the department’s responsibility, the prompt action and commitment shown by the field staff during the crisis deserve appreciation. “The employees remained on their toes and worked tirelessly to ensure that water supply was restored at the earliest,” locals said.
