BuzzBytes Raipur, Feb 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a scathing critique of the Congress party during the virtual ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Chhattisgarh’ program on Saturday, asserting that the grand old party’s mindset is confined to ‘parivarvaad’ (nepotism), corruption, and appeasement, with the nation’s development seemingly absent from its agenda.Modi, who dedicated ten development projects worth over Rs 34,400 crore, emphasized that the Congress, despite its extensive rule post-independence, failed to focus on building the nation’s future. “Their thought was only to form a government while taking the country forward was never on their agenda,” remarked the PM.He accused the Congress of making decisions based on political interests rather than prioritizing the nation’s progress. Modi emphasized that the Congress’ current mindset remains unchanged, limited to “parivarvaad, corruption, and appeasement.”Highlighting his commitment to the people, Modi declared, “For Modi, you all are Modi’s family. Your dreams are Modi’s resolution. That is why today I am talking about a developed India and developed Chhattisgarh.”The Prime Minister underscored that a developed Chhattisgarh could only be realized through the empowerment of the poor, youth, and women. He also criticized the previous Congress government in Chhattisgarh for stalling the construction of houses for the poor, contrasting it with the expedited efforts of the new BJP government. The BJP’s decisive victory in the recent Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, where they overtook the Congress, was a clear endorsement of Modi’s vision, with the Prime Minister having conducted numerous rallies in the state leading up to the polls.
