A wave of support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) swept through Ramban as dozens of retired government officials and political workers from parties like the National Conference (NC) and Congress joined the BJP at its Trikuta Nagar headquarters in Jammu.

Ashok Koul, J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization), played a key role in welcoming the new entrants. The joining ceremony highlighted the trust and admiration the people of Ramban have developed for the policies of the BJP, particularly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The event featured a diverse group of new BJP members, including Bodh Raj Katoch, Mohd. Rafiq, Shakil Ahmed, and others from Congress, as well as Jaswant Singh, Mohd. Shafi, Liaqat Ali, and more from the National Conference. Ashok Koul praised the public-centric welfare policies and good governance provided by Prime Minister Modi, which have resonated with the masses and prominent leaders alike.
