Real Kashmir FC Mourns as Owner Sandeep Chatoo Passes Away from Cardiac Arrest in Delhi

Srinagar, Dec 31: In a tragic turn of events, Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) owner, Sandeep Chatoo, passed away on Sunday following a sudden cardiac arrest in New Delhi. The Kashmiri Pandit, who was in the capital for work, suffered a massive heart attack and was swiftly taken to the hospital, but sadly, could not be revived.

Umer, the Manager of RKFC Senior team, confirmed the untimely demise and stated that Sandeep’s body will be brought to Jammu for the final rites.

Survived by his wife, son, and daughter, Sandeep Chatoo was not only the owner of RKFC but also the proprietor of CH2 Hotel situated in India Nagar.

Founded in 2016 by Sandeep, RKFC has evolved beyond its role as a football club, emerging as a significant platform for the youth in the valley.

It is noteworthy that RKFC holds the distinction of being the sole club from Jammu and Kashmir participating in the I League— a testament to Sandeep Chatoo’s dedication to promoting sports in the region. The football community and fans alike mourn the loss of a visionary figure who played a pivotal role in elevating the stature of football in the valley.
