In a joint operation, the police and army claimed to have recovered a pistol and ammunition from the residence of an Over Ground Worker (OGW) in the Seri Khawaha area of Poonch district.
According to official sources, the search operation led to the discovery of one pistol, 1 magazine, and 5 rounds of 9mm ammunition in the house belonging to Ghulam Mohammad, son of Abdul Gaffar and a resident of Seri Khwaja.
The OGW, Ghulam Mohammad, was not present at the time of the searches. A manhunt has been initiated by the police to apprehend the individual. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the details surrounding the recovery and the alleged involvement of the OGW.
