Srinagar and Various Kashmiri Regions Experience Season’s Coldest Night.

In a significant drop in temperatures, Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, reported the coldest night of the season, with the mercury plummeting to minus 2.0 degrees Celsius. The entire Kashmir region witnessed a further dip in night temperatures, affecting several key areas.

Among the notable locations, Qazigund recorded a low of minus 2.0 degrees Celsius, while the famous tourist destination, Gulmarg, experienced a minimum temperature of minus 2.2 degrees Celsius. Pahalgam, another renowned spot, marked a chilly minus 5.1 degrees Celsius.

Northern Kashmir wasn’t spared either, as Kupwara registered a minimum temperature of minus 2.7 degrees Celsius. Other areas, including Ganderbal, Shopian, Bandipora, and Baramulla, also reported their coldest night of the season.

Residents and authorities are urged to take necessary precautions as the region braces for more cold spells, impacting daily life and activities.
