In a shocking turn of events, a ₹59 crore scam has sent ripples through the valley as an app, promising to double investments, mysteriously disappeared in Srinagar today. Creative Curative Surveys Pvt. Ltd., the company at the center of the financial scandal, is now under scrutiny, with social media ablaze with reports of the alleged scam.
According to information received by Kashmir News Service, the app is accused of collecting a staggering ₹59 crores from unsuspecting investors. The promise of doubling investments within 10 to 15 days has now left users in the dark, as the application has become unresponsive. This has led to protests erupting outside the closed office of the company in Srinagar.
Protesters in Srinagar have directed their ire at popular YouTuber Idrees Mir, accusing him of endorsing the app and allegedly gaining the trust of the common public to invest. Yawar Wani, another social media influencer, is also reportedly a brand ambassador for the app. He claimed to have personally verified the app’s credibility and security.
Despite the allegations, attempts to contact YouTuber Idrees Mir were met with silence, as he did not respond to repeated calls.
Amidst the turmoil, calls for swift action are mounting, urging the cyber police of Kashmir to launch a thorough investigation and hold those responsible accountable. The situation is fluid, with investors anxiously seeking justice against the financial loss incurred due to the alleged scam.
