The month of November witnessed a spike in casualties, with a total of 17 reported incidents, marking the highest count for the year alongside September. Data from Kashmir News Trust reveals a breakdown of the casualties, including 7 local militants, 2 non-local militants, 2 infiltrators, 5 soldiers, and a BSF personnel.

Throughout November, the region experienced 5 encounters between joint forces and militants, spanning areas such as Kathohalan in Shopian, Samnu Kulgam, Kalakote Rajouri, and Arihal Pulwam. Additionally, a gunfight in Parigam Pulwam occurred, where militants managed to evade the cordon.
The local militants who lost their lives in November were Maisar Ahmed Dar (alias Adil) of Vishroo Shopian, Yasif Bhat of Kulgam, Sameer Ahmed Shiekh, Danish Ahmed Thokar, Ubaid Patr, and Hunzara Shah—all residents of Shopian—and Kifayat Ayoub Alaie from Pinjora Shopian.
Five soldiers, identified as Captain M V Pranjal, Captain Shubham Gupta, Havildar Abdul Majid, Lance Naik Sanjay Bisht, and paratrooper Sachin Laur, lost their lives in a fierce gun battle in Rajouri. Additionally, BSF head constable Lal Fam Kima from Aizwal in Mizoram was killed in cross-border firing in the Ramgarh Sector of the Samba district. Two infiltrators met their demise in the Kali Uri Sector along the LoC in the Baramulla district.
