J&K has been suffering from the madness of terrorism since 1989. Terrorist organisations have changed their strategies since then. However, one thing has not altered, i.e. spilling of innocent blood in J&K. This time again, a Kashmiri policeman has been targeted.
The Over Ground Workers (OGW) and Under Ground Workers(UGW) of the terrorist organisations operating in J&K are still active, providing them with an easy target list with all the necessary information to cause harm. The traitors are here among us, who make available terrorists with lists, which are used to issue social media intimidations with leaving the Kashmir Valley. Security Forces have somehow been unable to break this connection, and the danger of terrorism goes on without any reduction in the intensity of terror.
The aims of terrorists carrying out target killings in J&K could vary. However, generally, they seek to create fear, panic, and instability in the region and to further their ideological goal.
One of the primary objectives of terrorists carrying out target killings is to intimidate the local population and disrupt daily life, undermining the government’s authority and creating a sense of insecurity and chaos. By targeting civilians, including women and children, the terrorists seek to create a sense of vulnerability and helplessness among the local populace.
Another aim of target killings by terrorists is to weaken the region’s Security Forces and law enforcement agencies. By targeting police officers, soldiers, and other security personnel, the terrorists seek to reduce the government’s ability to maintain law and order and to project an image of strength and control.
By eliminating local leaders, activists, or other individuals who may threaten their objectives, the terrorists seek to advance their agenda and achieve their goals.
Thus target killings by terrorists in J&K aim to create a sense of chaos and instability, undermine the government’s authority, and further their ideological agenda. These actions severely violate human rights and the rule of law and must be condemned and combated.
