Three Individuals Booked Under PSA in Bandipora for Alleged Involvement in Anti-Militancy Activities

Buzzbytes,Bandipora, Feb. 26: The police in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district have taken action against three individuals by booking them under the Public Safety Act (PSA) and subsequently lodging them in the central jail in Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.

According to an official statement provided to News Agency buzzbytes , the individuals identified as Shikeh Danish Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Shiekh of Aloosa; Gh Mohammad Waza, son of Gh Qadir Waza of Bagh Bandipora; and Maqsood Amin Rather, son of Mohammad Maqsood Rather of Rather Mohalla Ajas, have been implicated under the PSA for their alleged involvement in anti-militancy activities.

The official further elaborated that the decision to detain the trio under the PSA was made due to their purported continuous engagement in activities deemed detrimental to national security.

The three individuals have been promptly transferred to the central jail in Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, as part of the authorities’ efforts to address concerns related to their alleged anti-national activities.

The imposition of the PSA is indicative of the authorities’ commitment to maintaining law and order in the region and curbing activities that pose a threat to peace and security.

Authorities have yet to provide additional details regarding the specific nature of the anti-militancy activities allegedly carried out by the detained individuals.
