Training Program Enhances Educational Collaboration in Handwara’s Educational Zone

In a proactive move to elevate educational standards and foster community engagement, a comprehensive training program for School Management Committees (SMCs) and School Management and Development Committees (SMDCs) was recently conducted at the Environmental Hall in Handwara. The initiative, organized under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, marked a significant step towards advancing the quality of education in the region.

The event commenced with a soulful recital of Tilawat and Naat by students, setting a spiritual tone for the day. Zonal Education Officer Handwara, Shamus ud Din Samoon, inaugurated the program with a warm welcome to all participants, emphasizing the commitment of Educational Zone Handwara to elevate academic standards and cultivate a positive work culture within schools.

Key speakers highlighted the paramount importance of collaboration between SMC and SMDC members alongside school management, emphasizing a unified approach towards enhancing the educational landscape.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was DDC Chairman Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Pandithpori, who graced the event with his presence. DDC Rajwar Mir Sulaiman, Tehsildar Handwara Shahbaz Ahmad, Chairman Municipal Committee Handwara Abdul Majeed Pandit, and other dignitaries added to the significance of the training program by their active participation. The collective efforts showcased a shared commitment to improving educational outcomes and community involvement in Handwara’s Educational Zone.
