GANDERBAL, JANUARY 10: Sheikh Arshad Ayub, the Inspector General of Registration, J&K, took charge of a dynamic Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) Programme and Block Diwas held at the Block Conference Hall Kangan.In attendance were Deputy Commissioner Shyambir, Additional District Development Commissioner Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Planning Officer, ACR Ganderbal, SDM Kangan, SDPO Kangan, along with district and sectoral officers.The event, embraced by the active participation of civil society and locals, showcased various government departments highlighting the importance of welfare schemes. An Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van displayed success stories of beneficiaries under schemes like PMJAY, PMAY, UMEED, KCC, PM Kissan, Poshan Abhiyan, among others.Stalls set up by government departments visually narrated the implementation of numerous schemes in the district. The ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani’ segment shared impactful firsthand accounts from beneficiaries, emphasizing the positive changes brought about by government welfare programs.IG Registration commended the district administration’s achievements in reaching saturation under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes, stressing the transformative impact on citizens’ lives. Encouraging the community to utilize welfare schemes, he emphasized collective efforts to achieve a developed Bharat by 2047.DC highlighted developmental achievements and progress under Centrally Sponsored Schemes, emphasizing the goal of bridging information gaps to ensure citizens are well-informed about available government benefits and assistance programs.
