Jammu, February 3, 2024:Narinder Singh Bhau, President of All India Bahu Rajput Sabha and executive member of BJP, led a delegation on a visit to the Bhaderkashi Fruits Producers Company Limited during the Jammu Trade Fair 2024. The delegation, including notable individuals like Keval Singh, Dr. Sumedha Sharma, Er. Shubham Kotwal, Sakshi Sawhney, and Munish Dutt, engaged in discussions with Ramneek Manhas, the founder of Bhaderkashi FPO.During the visit, the delegation explored various aspects of Bhaderkashi Rajmash and other value-added products and specialties of the FPO. The literary works of renowned author Dharmkant Dogra were also discussed, adding depth to the insightful exchange.Narinder Singh Bhau took the opportunity to emphasize the significance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on agricultural schemes, particularly stressing their importance for farmers. Coming from an agriculturist family himself, Bhau highlighted the remarkable value and impact these schemes bring, especially for the welfare of farmers.Ramneek Manhas, the visionary behind Bhaderkashi FPO, drew attention to the potential job opportunities these initiatives bring, especially for rural women in Bhaderkashi (Bhaderwah). He expressed his primary focus on ensuring that once these products are GI tagged, they can make a significant foray into the international market.The visit showcased the strides being made in the region to promote tourism and agricultural initiatives while fostering local economic empowerment, particularly for women. The presence of notable individuals and social activists added to the significance of the visit, highlighting collaborative efforts towards sustainable development in the region.
