Anantnag, November 20, 2023 — Angshuman Dey, the designated District Prabhari Officer for Anantnag and Union Joint Secretary from the Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DONER), conducted a comprehensive review today of the ongoing preparations for the impending “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.”
During the visit, Deputy Commissioner S F Hamid briefed the Prabhari Officer about the district’s blueprint for the upcoming Yatra. Discussions encompassed the formulation of transportation plans, establishment of routes, appointment of nodal personnel, and the training of stakeholders involved in various aspects of the Sankalp Yatra.
Engaging with district officials and stakeholders connected with the Yatra, Dey assessed the preparations in detail, focusing on its potential impact on infrastructure development, community involvement, and overall socio-economic advancement.
Expressing contentment with the collective efforts of all involved parties, he underscored the significance of sustained community engagement and emphasized continued collaboration between government bodies, local authorities, and the public to ensure the success of the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.”
The Union Joint Secretary urged officers to efficiently coordinate arrangements for the Yatra, emphasizing the need for training sessions for officers and resource persons from various line departments.
During the meeting, several government schemes were discussed for promotion, including PM Vishwakarma, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Mudra Loan, PMEGP, Mumkin, Poshan Abhiyan, Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, PM Awas Yojana (Rural), PM Kisan Saman, Kisan Credit Card, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Har Ghar Jal – Jal Jeevan Mission, among others.
The Prabhari Officer expressed confidence in the positive impact expected from the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” and reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to the holistic development of the Anantnag district.
The meeting saw the attendance of several key officials, including ADDC, ADC, Joint Director Planning, ACR, DPO ICDS, ASP, ACP, ACD, DPO, BDOs, and other district officers.
