The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) gathered momentum as it traversed through seven Panchayats in block Rajgarh and Ukhral of District Ramban. Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the 10th day of the campaign witnessed robust engagement from the locals in a series of events aimed at promoting awareness about Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

The community-driven initiative included health camps, Sankalp pledge ceremonies, sports activities, department-wise awareness sessions, telecasting of the Prime Minister’s message, screening of scheme-related movies, and cultural events across all venues. The multifaceted program aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the developmental and welfare schemes initiated by the Central Government.

IEC Vans played a pivotal role in screening the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message and promotional videos of different schemes, creating widespread awareness about Union Government initiatives for public welfare.

Beneficiaries shared their experiences under the “Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani” initiative, expressing gratitude for the seamless delivery of services. Line departments set up stalls to showcase public welfare schemes, providing on-the-spot services and sensitizing the public.

Local artists and students actively participated in VBSY, presenting songs, skits, and cultural events. The Yatra, designed to reach the unreached population, focused on enlightening citizens about crucial government schemes such as Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Saman Yojana, and Jeevan Joti Bima Yojana, detailing the process to avail benefits.

The resounding success of the VBSY campaign reflects the community’s keen interest in understanding and benefiting from the various initiatives aimed at comprehensive welfare and development.
