The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is making significant strides across the district, reaching every Panchayat under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary. The yatra received a warm welcome from PRIs, senior citizens, youth, and local residents in eight Panchayats of Ramban Block.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra showcased vibrant participation in Panchayats Kunfer, Sawani, Neera, Kanthi, Beri Neghal, Demote-A, Demote-B, and Sildhar of Block Ramban. The yatra, equipped with IEC vans, disseminated awareness about government schemes, conducted health camps, Sankalp pledges, and engaged in outreach activities, fostering community involvement.

At each location, a dynamic mix of events unfolded, weaving stories of empowerment and collective engagement toward a shared vision of national development. The locals were informed about various flagship schemes and initiatives, with a focus on rural development.

Agricultural activities took center stage with sessions and a drone demonstration, providing a platform for officials and nodal officers to interact with progressive farmers. Free medical camps by the health department brought healthcare services to the doorstep of local communities.

In an activity named ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ beneficiaries shared their experiences, listening to recorded video messages from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the campaign’s significance. Participants took the Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge, expressing their commitment to holistic national development.

The Yatra’s primary focus is reaching the unreached population, creating awareness about government schemes such as Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana, and the Urea Subsidy Scheme.

Tehsildar Ramban, S. Harvir Singh, BDO Tanzeel Runyal, and various officers actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra across different Panchayats in Block Ramban. Highlighting the campaign’s primary objective, officers emphasized empowering citizens to become active stakeholders in the country’s development.
